Scenes from the Pre-Rosh Hashanah Celebration: Apples, Honey and Bees
Last night, Rabbi Danielle Stillman spoke with Lehigh students in the College of Education’s mountaintop garden. The group feasted on honey sweetened bread and apples, and discussed the tradition of eating sweet foods to welcome in a sweet new year. They also learned about the Lehigh University Apiary, and where honey comes from.
