- There’s a serious issue on the horizon all meat candy lovers have on their mind: the impending Bacon shortage and associated rising prices. Twitter is all atwitter (Mashable), and some news outlets are even saying that the rumors of shortage are just “hogwash” (Slate Magazine), but everyone seems to be in agreement that prices are going to rise (Fox News). I haven’t seen a real difference at the store, thus-far, so hopefully, like Carmageddon, this story has just been way overblown!
