Dates: June 13-15th 2014
Location: Colorado Convention Center – 700 14th Street, Denver, CO 80202
Positions Available:
- Videographer – Our team of videographers will be shooting the action in all areas of Denver Comic Con, from the exhibit floor, to the panel rooms, and everything in between.
- Video Editor – With all that footage we’re shooting, someone’s gotta cut it all together. Our team of editors will cut and deliver highlight videos throughout the weekend for online distribution.
- Video Host – We’re looking for hosts eager to explore the convention, talk to attendees and guests, and generally have a good time documenting their experiences on camera.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Videographers – Experience shooting live events is required. You will be asked to submit examples of your past work. Please provide your own equipment.
- Video Editors – Prior experience editing highlight videos, montages, or similar is required. You will be asked to submit examples of your past work. You will need to provide your own laptop or workstation in most cases.
- Hosts – Knowledge and understanding of geek culture is a huge plus, as are interview skills. You will be asked to submit examples of your past work.
Compensation: As with almost all of the staff of Denver Comic Con, this is strictly a volunteer opportunity. However, we do provide several perks including free tickets.
Publishing of Your Work: Denver Comic Con reserves first publishing rights to all footage and videos. You will be credited for your work in all official publications. Following the con, you are free to keep and publish your own work.
