While America was sleeping we bought ourselves 2 more weeks in Japan and a ticket to the finals with our tough win against Bulgaria!

This was a must win match for both teams. Bulgaria needed a 3-0 win against us to get to the finals and we needed to win in 5 games or less. So I’m glad we got the job done and are not heading back to the US right now.

The top five teams, plus the host country Japan, move on to finals week that takes place next week. 

Finals week consists of 5 straight matches and whoever comes out with the most points is the winner, so it should be a pretty interesting week. 

We have a full week until the finals begin to train and get better than we were last week. We’re definitely lucky that our last pool has us already in Japan, because I’m not sure I could adjust to one more time zone.
