hypermania asked: Okay so obviously Derek knows how to moonwalk (it's how he gets away from ~feelings~). But HOW does he know how to moonwalk? Was he that kid that totally recorded music videos onto VHS tapes and then stood in front of the TV for hours watching them over and over and learning the dances? Does he know every move to NSYNC's "I Want You Back"? (of course he does). Does Stiles catch him doing it in the loft?

do you even know how much money i would give for a scene where stiles and derek end up in a room alone, and derek’s like, “did you know i know every step to britney spear’s “oops i did it again” dance? its true. my sister was obsessed with it, and every day after school we would watch TRL and laura would practice, and I used to practice with her. it was just a joke, but i actually got pretty good. sometimes when i’m bored now, i put it on and dance alone at the loft.”
and stiles chokes out, “why are you telling me this?”

and derek leans in, intense and serious, “because no one will ever believe you.”
stiles says, in disbelief, “you sick son of a bitch.”
