Initial sketch of title track “Fade To Blue”… final recording is just as ambient recorded with 3 guitars (rhythm, resonator slide, and electric) and e-bow on grand piano.
Yellow colors meet the blue
purple shade across the land
the way you smile, the way you smell
the scent you leave on my pillow
and though the sun goes down
something beautiful remains
and as the stars shine through
we’ll all fade to blue
the tide recedes but leaves behind
a memory deep inside my mind
the way you laugh, the way you cry
the subtle spark in your eye
