I have received information from Doggie Drawings fans in the UK that Lori Thompson is once again, a year later, selling these canvases of my stolen artwork. If you see any of the following images - PDF link below - in a shop/gallery or on a website/facebook page, please let me know.

The images in this PDF document were on Lori Thompson’s facebook page last year, and have since been removed by the Facebook legal dept, but the physical canvas prints are still out there in London/the Surrey area, UK.

Good news and relief. My attorney and I have received a response letter from the Posh Pawn production company - Boomerang Pictures - that images of my artwork will be removed from the show. In conjunction with the Channel 4 legal department they are taking steps to deal with Lori Thompson.  (She has not responded to their messages so far)

I have removed all Posh Pawn video links and screenshots at the request of Boomerang’s legal department.

Recently I was alerted to a UK reality tv show on Channel 4, called “Posh Pawn” -which you can view here on YouTube.  If you are outside the USA, this video might be blocked from you, so here is a copy on Vimeo. *VIDEOS REMOVED*

A Doggie Drawings client had emailed me this video and when I first saw this, I was in shock, as you can imagine. Did the producers of Posh Pawn grab artwork off the internet and neglected to get my permission to use these drawings on their show? Why is there bling and someone else’s signature on my drawings? Was this artist and her “thriving pet portrait business” an actor?  

Thanks to my Facebook friends and supporters, I have since learned that LORI THOMPSON has been selling these dog canvasses to pet boutiques and galleries in London for several months now since February 2013.  

She has a facebook page - ‘Diamondogs' (from which I have  been blocked… ) and it is full of bedazzled copies my drawings with her signature on them. *FACEBOOK HAS NOW REMOVED ALL THESE IMAGES.

And a status update about commissioning artwork from Diamondogs:

Here is an example of a London shop selling Lori Thompson’s copies of my artwork. I had written to the shop and not received a reply.

I am in the process of further investigations and communications with an attorney.

FOR NOW, THIS IS HOW YOU CAN HELP:

1. I am trying to track down retailers of these copied drawings. If you have any information and see any of my artwork in stores or markets (signed “Lori”) please notify the seller nicely that this is stolen artwork (resellers of stolen artwork are subject to Secondary Copyright Infringement charges) and/or please report the issue or let me know so that I can contact them directly.

2. If you have ordered artwork from Lori Thompson and are a victim of fraud, I am really sorry. PLEASE REPORT THIS. I have received messages from a few of her customers who had transferred money into her bank account and have not received any goods or heard from her since!

3. Please use social media (Facebook, Twitter, your blog) to spread the word about this fraudulent artist/business so that nobody else is ripped-off or supports her business.
