Portrait. January 2014 #believeinfilm
Zenza Bronica ETRSi (645) Zenzanon-PE 1:3.5 f=150mm on new Kodak Portra 400 @200 developed and scanned by FINDLab, USA.
Part of a series of portraits I shot for a photo wall of staff at my son’s elementary school. Portra is unbelievable. Straight scan, no editing watermark added. The processing of FINDLab is incredible!
I am an amateur photographer living in Hamburg, Germany. I shoot analog, only, with 35mm (Nikon F2 Photomic, Nikon FT2 as backup) and medium format (Zenza Bronica ETRSi (645)), on Kodak stock (Tri-X 400 usually in Spur HCD-new and Portra 160, 400 and 800). I thrive to document the life around me which – due to available time – is predominantly my family and children, their friends and relations, activities in day care, playgrounds and school. So one could say I focus on people and the images of them. I have dabbled a bit with landscape photography but living in a big city the former is easier – and always changing offering new perspectives and ways to see them. Still need to keep working on them and my ability to openly approach people (I donot do street of „candid“) to get them featured.
Hey, got featured! Thanks a bunch!
