I’ve been using FINDLab, USA for like a year now and I am amazed and very happy with their service.
What I like most is their dedicated color correction by real persons, feedback included (The last order had even the „master“ Jon Canlas himself preparing the images and I got some great tips for free!).
The prices are quite good too, especially compared to Germany where I’d typically would pay double - without color correction! FINDLab does send the negatives back in bunches so I save a LOT on mail. That was the main reason why I stopped using RPL.
Only thing I will have to ask in view of my last order is the color range they use and about embedding of a proper profile. Things look great on my profiled monitor (MBP Retina 15”) but my lowly printer is acting up and producing quite a different output.
I do my own B&W processing and scanning and do not use C41-based B&W (have in the past though), 100% Tri-X 400 @400 and various other speeds (processed in Spur HCD new). Note, I am an amateur, occasionally dabbling with doing some stuff for expenses in a friends & community context. So the amount of film used (I shoot 100% analog) is much lower than for any pro… if they do analog.
