HX3 is an intense new blend with a flavor unlike anything you've tasted before. With a balance of sweet dry tobacco and the slightest hint of menthol, this full-flavored e-liquid offers a great throat hit and excellent performance. HX3 takes vaping to the next level.

Anyone who knows me on ECF or any of the other forums out there knows I have yet to find a tobacco flavored liquid that I can vape longer than a few hours. I mostly stick to coffee and fruity flavors and non tobacco minty flavors. When I go to a vendor that I have never tried before I always get at least one of their tobacco flavors in hopes that one day I will find one that I like/love. So that being said HX3 sounded interesting.

Initial impression: I received a 7ml bottle of this flavor and the first thing I noticed was the dripper top. It is smaller and thinner than most dripper tops on 10ml bottles, the one on Halo's bottle actually fits into the opening of a drip tip.

Okay, now for the important stuff, when I smelled it, it smelled like a version of RY4. I filled a Resurrector  carto And began to vape.

Flavor: This is definitely a tobacco flavor, by that I mean it tastes like many tobacco flavored juices taste. The only thing that sets this juice apart from others is that it has a sweetness to it unlike any other tobacco juice I've tried. Now, the description says that this liquid has a "hint" of menthol. This has seemed to confuse some people, I have read many comments in the forums, stating that nobody can taste the menthol. I can taste very, very subtle menthol on the inhale , but only at max voltage, for my 1.7 ohm resurrectors 3.77 volts is about the max they can handle. At max voltage you can taste a subtle menthol and even more of the sweetness. I don't believe that they were shooting for a true menthol, just something different. All in all the flavor is a sweeter tobacco than some straight tobacco flavored juices, and at the right voltage the menthol is there.

Vapor production: The amount of vapor from this liquid is absolutely amazing, as I type this I take a pull every now and then, and have to stop typing, because I can't see my monitor.

Throat hit: As with the only other Halo liquid I reviewed Kringle's Curse the throat hit is decent for 18mg. Again, I believe the amount of vapor produced by this liquid contributes to the throat hit.

Price: Again, 19.99 for a 30ml bottle of premium E-Liquid is not too shabby.

Final thoughts: I love the tip on the 7ml bottle, the vapor is thick and fog like, the throat hit is decent enough. Now, the flavor is what you expect from a tobacco juice, but it does have a delicious sweetness to it. The menthol is not as predominant as you would think, but hidden beneath the sweetness, so if you want a menthol tobacco this one would definitely disappoint, I wasn't expecting a menthol tobacco, I expected RY4 with a couple drops of menthol flavoring. This was not the case either, which is good because I can't stand most RY4 flavors. So, in the end would I vape it occasionally? yes. Would it be an everyday vape? no. Do I recommend it? Yes, if you like tobacco flavors you definitely have to give this a shot, especially if you are not a big menthol fan because it is not a true menthol juice, just enough to separate it from all other tobacco flavors.
