One of the disadvantages of being the only girl in a family of boys, apart from the sports talk ad nauseam, is that they’re not birthday cake buyers. I’m always the cake buyer, so when it’s my turn, there’s rarely any cake. They’ve improved over the past two years though—that or we pick a restaurant that serves cake. 😁 #xs (at Elbert’s Steak Room)
