Seed-Mix Spread
1 portion of pumpkin and sunflower seeds (protein)
water
vegetable oil*
lemon juice (optional)
herbs & spices
Soak seeds over night in little water. Puree seeds with very little water, until fluffy. Add Oil, mix again. Cool in refrigerator. If you like, add a squirt of lemon juice (use only, if lemon is on your list of fruits, do not eat any other fruits at this meal). Spice very well (delicious: chives).
* Substitute vegetable broth for oil during Phase 2 w/o oil of your personalized metabolic balance® plan, or do not use this recipe.
When still in Phase 2 w/o oil you may, if you like, add some balsamic or apple cider vinegar to the seed mix.
Enjoy on rye crispy crackers or as a dip for vegetables.
