I get 4 or 5 requests per week of friends of friends (or complete strangers) who want to try to get in VC and ask me about the best way to go about it. I tend to tell them that this is not an obvious career path given how few positions there are, especially in Europe, and that it’s probably a better bet to try to enter the tech/startup scene as a whole instead of narrowing it down to VC from the get go.
But for those who are still set on joining a VC, this post by Eze provides a lot of very useful tips.
