Four of my favourite gig photos that i’ve taken.

i. Mowbird (garage punk), playing in Central Station, Wrexham, at a Christmas event, in 2012, comprised of many local bands. Brilliant night, brilliant performance.

ii. Bastions (hardcore) performing at a house show in Fallowfield, Manchester, on Hallo'ween 2012. It was intense and intimate.

iii. For This World is Hollow And These Hands Have Touched The Sky (screamo) playing Crushtival ii, in Southampton’s Unit. The first time I had seen them for reals and I was blown away by their energetic performance and interesting/intense music.

iv. David’s Lyre (moody indie), playing a solo set at Deaf Institute, Manchester. It was quite intimate. It was the first time I’d heard his music, and I was actually disappointed when hearing that the recorded versions had added instrumentation because just him on his own was captivating enough.
