Photography is definitely not what it used to be anymore. Gone are the days when beautiful pictures, or what people perceived as beautiful, were taken through the lenses of big bulky cameras. Now, as technology keeps advancing, consumers are getting their hands on smaller and better conceived units, thus allowing more options for photographers, no matter amateur or professional.

This is evident in this shot by Chiun-Kai Shih, who photographed this editorial for GQ Taiwan using the Hipstamatic app for the iPhone. Imagine the possibilities of our near future if we have professional photographers taking such stunning photos with something as “simple” as a cellphone.

The photos found in this editorial are stunning and I enjoy how the shots allow the Prada pieces to be a true focus. I can’t wait to see more stuff like this from Shih.
