Harold Lloyd and Mildred Davis, Thursday 23 April 1925
87 years ago today, comedian Harold Lloyd and his wife, Mildred Davis, stopped over briefly in Vancouver on their way to vacation in Lake Louise, Banff, and Toronto. Davis was the leading lady in several of Lloyd’s films, including Grandma’s Boy and Safety Last!

The second film that I will be showing in tomorrow’s Free Culture Film Festival will be silent screen star Harold Lloyd’s classic comic short, “Never Weaken.”
This event is being organized by The Working Centre and KWLUG as part of its annual Free Software Day festivities in Waterloo Region.
