Doorway to Justice?

This video takes place right outside this door into the Court House at 361 University.

This is what I would call “overkill.”

What did I see on these videos?

I can’t see any reason for the first arrest. Mr. Erb was unhappy that the camp was being evicted, and he asked questions. Suddenly they were handcuffing him. Why? Yet he took it stoically, allowing himself to be handcuffed, and was fine until they picked up his bag. He told them to leave it, and when they didn’t, he got upset. This seems to be what caused them to beat him senseless.

Ms. Turvey was recording the incident and tried to stop the assault with words. She told them to leave his bag. Instead of listening to her words, she was assaulted.

“Turvey was charged with obstructing a peace officer and assault with intent to resist arrest. She was released on $1,000 bail Saturday and ordered to reside with her parents in Port Colborne.”

What I saw was Ms. Turvey trying to speak up and help Mr. Erb.
