This past Saturday, Instagrammers around the world came together in support of freedom and ending child slavery.

InstaMeets in Hong Kong, New York City, Mexico City, San Francisco and beyond coincided with the premiere of #standwithme (@standwithme), a documentary by Stillmotion (@stillmot) telling the story of 10-year-old Vivienne Harr and her efforts to end child slavery. After her parents showed her a photo of child workers in Nepal, Vivienne decided to open a lemonade stand and ask people to pay with “what’s in your heart” to free child slaves with the funds. After manning the stand for 365 days straight and raising over $100,000, Vivienne still wasn’t done. She and her family founded #MakeAStand! Lemon-Aid, a fair-trade lemonade company that donates a portion of its profits to leading anti-slavery organizations around the world.
