Weekend Hashtag Project: #WHPsentbymail
Weekend Hashtag Project is a series featuring designated themes & hashtags chosen by Instagram’s Community Team. For a chance to be featured on the Instagram blog, follow @instagram and look for a photo announcing the weekend’s project every Friday.
The goal this weekend is to explore the themes of mail and post offices through creative photos and videos. Some tips to get you started:
- Take a trip to a post office in your town or city. Look for the architectural elements both inside and outside to capture what makes it unique.
- If you’re more interested in people than buildings, strike up a conversation with your local mail delivery person. Take a portrait of and tell their story in the caption.
- You can also get crafty with this project. Keep an eye out for old or interesting stamps to photograph or share a photo or video of your own piece of mail art before you send it.
PROJECT RULES: Please only add the #WHPsentbymail hashtag to photos and videos taken over this weekend and only submit your own photographs and videos to the project. Any image or video taken then tagged over the weekend is eligible to be featured right here Monday morning!
