Bay to Breakers
For San Franciscans, the third Sunday in May can only mean one thing: Bay to Breakers! The wacky annual footrace from bay to coast was officially the largest in the world from 1986 until 2010, when it was surpassed by the Run for Pasig in the Philippines.
Although it’s no longer the largest race in the world, it’s likely the quirkiest. Here are some our favorite costumes and scenes from the craziness.
