I’m new to this and testing it out (I have no idea what I’m doing LOL). I lost 30 pounds about 3 ½ years ago. Then I found the love of my life right under my nose (we both had kids in scouts and knew each other for years before we “discovered each other”). We started dating, cooking for each other, and eating out. He’s a terrific cook and I love to cook too, but he’s not too much into boneless skinless chicken breasts and whole grains. He’s a meat and potatoes man. Anyway, I gained back 20 of the pounds I lost. Now I’m serious about getting them off and being in even better shape than I was when I lost the 30. My first post shows my collage of motivational pictures (the first one especially) and quotes that I look at every day. I didn’t start eating better on Jan. 1, but I have been better this week and I’ve already lost weight and am excited. I used to lift weights and run so I want to get back into that as much as possible. I won a fitness challenge several years ago at my gym, so I know with hard work I can do anything I want to do. Anyway, that’s my mini-story and I thought I would test it out here to see if it posts the way I think it will.
