NEW RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS ALBUM RELEASED AUGUST 2011
In a new interview on April 22nd, Chad Smith said the new RHCP Album would be released in the last week of August 2011! Watch the interview HERE

He also said the new album cover will feature an 80s era picture of Lionel Richie and the album will be called, “Hello, is it me you’re looking for?”

The Red Hot Chili Peppers started recording the music video for their first single, ‘The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie’ from new album, 'I’m With You’ which will be released on August 30th 2011! The video is being directed by up-and-coming ‘Gucci Gucci’ rapper Kreayshawn.

Flea tweeted about working with Kreayshawn on the new video earlier today…

A TASTE OF WHAT’S TO COME ON THE NEW RHCP ALBUM!

Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Funkmeister Flea demonstrates his ability on the piano, playing Bach’s Prelude during a radio interview with All Things Considered’s host Guy Raz on January 15th 2011. Flea’s newly acquired piano skills means there will be a number of piano driven melodies on the new RHCP Album!

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have told Q Magazine that new guitarist Josh Klinghoffer has revitalised the band. “It’s been like starting over again,” says RHCP frontman Anthony Kiedis (pictured). Josh Klinghoffer was recruited 18 months ago to replace John Fruscianie and makes his recorded debut on new album, I’m With You. Produced by Rick Rubin and with cover art from Damien Hirst, I’m With You mixes their trademark funk sound with classic rock inflections. “It was a big thing for us to decide to continue without John,” acknowledges bassist Flea. “But we came back really enthusiastic and wrote a shit-load of stuff. I’m excited about the whole deal.”
