The Red Hot Chili Peppers started recording the music video for their first single, ‘The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie’ from new album, 'I’m With You’ which will be released on August 30th 2011! The video is being directed by up-and-coming ‘Gucci Gucci’ rapper Kreayshawn.
Flea tweeted about working with Kreayshawn on the new video earlier today… “so fun making our video with my homey @Kreayshawn yesterday! outstanding young lady w/a unique perspective on the world my kind of person!”
Michelle Priddy, a dancer in the music video for The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie also tweeted a picture of the guys rockin’ out during the video shoot yesterday!

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced that their new album is called I’m With You and will be released on August 30th 2011!
The NEW RHCP Album will be released a few days earlier in Europe, with Warner Music Germany already stating it will be released on August 26th!
Flea announced the name and release date of the New Red Hot Chili Peppers Album in a series of Tweets on June 5th 2011…
“It gives me profound pleasure deep in the fiber of my being to announce the august 30 release date of the new red hot chili peppers’s record. The new red hot chili peppers record is called……….. I’m With You” View Flea’s Twitter profile HERE.
Chad Smith also tweeted about the new album, originally saying that the first RHCP single from I’m With You would make its radio debut on July 18th with the title of “The Adventures Of Raindance Maggie”. The tweet was removed shortly after it appeared, raising questions about the accuracy of the information and wether Chad was supposed to have shared the information at this stage!
Finally RHCP’s official website released a news update announcing the name and release date of the album…“Red Hot Chili Peppers are excited to announce that their new album will hit stores on august 30, 2011!! The new album is produced by Rick Rubin and is titled I’m With You.”
The Red Hot Chili Peppers have been rehearsing for their new 2011 2012 tour at Shangri La Studios - Studio A in Malibu!
On May 25th, Flea tweeted a picture of himself outside the studio, the name of the studio could also be seen in the background. View the original picture tweeted by Flea HERE.
On May 20th, Dave Rat (RHCP’s Sound Engineer) also tweeted a picture from the studio. The carpet and stool in the picture match the ones shown in the picture of studio A as shown on Shangri La’s official website.

Red Hot Rehearsals Dave Rat originally revealed that RHCP were rehearsing for their new tour when he said “heading out for Chili Peppers rehearsals” in a tweet on May 15th.
Flea then tweeted a picture of a blood blister on his finger on May 17th. Saying, “Blood blister from rocking like an animal today with the boys. It’s always like this after we track a record, then we’re mixin and doing overdubs and shit and I dont play bass for a while then I rock it… I’m gonna pop that shit with a safety pin.”
