A TASTE OF WHAT’S TO COME ON THE NEW RHCP ALBUM!

Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Funkmeister Flea demonstrates his ability on the piano, playing Bach’s Prelude during a radio interview with All Things Considered’s host Guy Raz on January 15th 2011. Flea’s newly acquired piano skills means there will be a number of piano driven melodies on the new RHCP Album!

The Red Hot Chili Peppers started recording the music video for their first single, ‘The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie’ from new album, 'I’m With You’ which will be released on August 30th 2011! The video is being directed by up-and-coming ‘Gucci Gucci’ rapper Kreayshawn.

Flea tweeted about working with Kreayshawn on the new video earlier today…
“so fun making our video with my homey @Kreayshawn yesterday! outstanding young lady w/a unique perspective on the world my kind of person!”

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced that their new album is called I’m With You and will be released on August 30th 2011!

Flea announced the name and release date of the New Red Hot Chili Peppers Album in a series of Tweets on June 5th 2011…

“It gives me profound pleasure deep in the fiber of my being to announce the august 30 release date of the new red hot chili peppers’s record. The new red hot chili peppers record is called……….. I’m With You”

Chad Smith also tweeted about the new album, originally saying that the first RHCP single from I’m With You would make its radio debut on July 18th with the title of “The Adventures Of Raindance Maggie”. The tweet was removed shortly after it appeared, raising questions about the accuracy of the information and wether Chad was supposed to have shared the information at this stage!

Finally RHCP’s official website released a news update announcing the name and release date of the album…“Red Hot Chili Peppers are excited to announce that their new album will hit stores on august 30, 2011!! The new album is produced by Rick Rubin and is titled I’m With You.”
