It makes you wonder, that if Yuuko had thrown her support towards Fai instead of Kurogane, where would Fai have ended up? With a stabler Ashura? With someone else? (And this line of thought raises some nasty ideas, because if Yuuko’s intervention would’ve meant a more stable…

I think the second fic is Bones by Klitch (which is one of my favorite Fai character study fic). I always got the impression that the AU Fai was r!Fai though. Which perhaps make the ending of the story even more :/.
