The end of winter is here - woohoo!! After more than a week of rain, the sun has finally come out just in time for me to do more of my wedding preparation. Five weeks away before I marry my love, and I’m getting really excited and nervous at the same time!
Anyway, less of wedding talk and more of vintage talk - the wedding talk can wait until after the big day. Today marks the end of the National Op-Shop Week, and I hope you have found some gems in your local op shops. I am ashamed to say I’ve spent most of this week stressing over the wedding and missed doing any shopping, but I’ve incorporated some of my favorite thrift finds in this outfit.
I am wearing my Evelyn Wood velvet dress again - this time as a coat over my new Wildfellhall dress. If you haven’t entered my giveaway, do it now. There are five days left and even though you think the chance is slim, you really gotta be in it to win it. And you can show Evelyn how much you love her pieces and she might just do another giveaway or a sale soon!
My new Wildfellhall Vintage dress is another Jonathan Logan. If you didn’t know, I’m a fan of Logan dresses and have acquired some pieces from the 1950s up until the 1970s. I actually found the 1970s dress in Japan, where Logan was sold there - the dress bears a Logan label as well as the department store label. This green dress, however, is a 1950s dress which has recently joined my happy Logan family. It is slightly longer than my usual dresses, but I love the length and the elegance it brings. I definitely will be bringing this dress out of the wardrobe more as it gets warmer - so keep an eye :)
Have a lovely week ahead!
