Beth is traveling to Florida with her mom and sister while Nolan stays with my mom and sister in Illinois.
Being alone already feels odd. I have a list of things to do but I don’t want it to feel like a checklist. Hopefully I will not feel bored and use this time to relax, indulge, and learn. (I want some extended coding time to myself.) Making a decent biscuit is a goal after making flaking pancakes earlier this week.
Tonight I attempted and failed to get a $25 Wicked ticket in their lottery. But I decided to take them up on their offer of $40 discounted tickets endeding up dead center in Row G, for Glinda. I walked to Broadway and looked at Yelp for dinner recommendations since I have been out of the loop. I’m at Pub5’s rooftop bar with a beer and lamb burger on the way. I hear music from Rippy’s next door.
I miss being downtown. It made Nashville feel like a city to me.
