Merida from Brave, out June 22 from Pixar!!!!!!!! You guys I have been waiting a MILLION YEARS for this movie. Finally! Finally finally finally! On a personal note, I remember finding out about Brenda Chapman (Brave’s director/story creator) in the book Paper Dreams (a big artbook about Disney storyboard artists) before I went to animation college. I thought “oh, I will be like her when I grow up.” Didn’t exactly work out that way (I ended up in comics instead of animation), but she’s still an inspiration.
