365 Days of Glass - Day 131
I’ve been thinking more about how Glass could be used as a valuable tool to document students’ learning both in-the-moment and over time. A kindergartener had Glass on briefly at a few different points during Writing Workshop recently, which helped us to capture his initial brainstorming, his drawing, and then his explanation and writing.
I think it would be really neat to capture those same pieces at different points in the year. Then, you could compile them all into one video to share with families and the child, to talk and reflect on how much he or she has grown and also to share with their teacher the next year.
Not only would it be a nice memory for families and students to have but it could also help teachers to see specific areas that a child might be struggling or exceling at and also for the child to see and think about their writing.
Would you want to use Glass in your writing workshop?
