PROMISE FOR HAITI

After serving the people of Haiti for over 35 years, Dr Guy Theodore has announced that he will retire in May of 2016 and move to an advisory role.  
“I made a promise to the Lord that if he made me a doctor, I would return to serve my people”, Dr Guy stated at the recent meeting in Hot Springs, AR.  
Dr Guy has often said that the Lord called him to build a system that would continue after he is gone.  He has done this through his focus on educating the local Haitian people to run the hospital, the community health initiatives, and educational programs.  

The Comite Bienfaisance is made up of  Haitian leaders who will direct the programs for years to come.  A strong Haitian staff stands ready to carry on the work. 

Dr Guy does the work of many people.  "Immediately, I suggest that we should be looking for an experienced and strong Medical Director, a Field Director, a Nurse Missionary, and an expatriate to help in Administration".
