Winter Workout Layering Guide

Don’t let the cold temps prevent you from running or getting your fitness on outdoors.

Every Winter, people are always asking me:

What should I wear to run in when it’s cold outside?

My answer: Clothes! …..LOL! 

Seriously, I tell them to wear tights, long sleeved shirts and accessories depending on how cold and windy it is.

They key is really layering.

I just ran back to back days in temps that were colder than 20 degrees, (thanks to some serious strong winds), last week and I layered up.

I’ve been wearing a lot of cold running gear from Nike (I love their knit hat with the ponytail opening and their half zip-ups with thumb holes), but I plan on trying other brands and posting reviews.
