Yesterday was another roughly 18 hour day. Amidst the working day I got to cut out early and spend time with one of my mentors. This kind of time is so important. We waste so much time on useless and mindless things and it makes me feel good to know when I am doing less of that and more of this kind of thing.

Today is a little more relaxing. Finished a great hangout this morning on How To Grow Your Accounting or Bookkeeping practice. 

We’re going to continue the discussion next week on Friday at 8 am. I hope you will join us. Even if you’re not an accountant much of the information is relevant to any business getting started these days. 

One of my own greatest take aways from this morning’s discussion is a reminder about one of the reasons I was invited to do an Ignite Session at last year’s Sleeter Conference about being “successful.” It has to do with being unreasonable about how you approach your passions. In other words, you have to become obsessed with your goals. That’s how you reach them faster. No shortcuts there - just hard work driven by a healthy obsession to create the life that you really want for yourself.

Are you glad it’s Friday? It makes no difference to me. Every day can be Friday if you’re obsessed with making it so..
