Reaching a Milestone

I’m writing this post mostly to remind myself to celebrate the little milestones I set out for myself…and to let go once I’ve reached them! At 36 weeks pregnant, I really should be turning my attention to the little one, but I’m having trouble letting go of work. On the weekend, I finally finished editing, laying out and illustrating all the chapters to the Hong Kong travelogue book I’ve been working on for the past year. It should be something to celebrate, but of course, I just want to keep working on it! Massaging it, adding, editing…plus, there’s other things still waiting to be done such as the book cover and intro pages and on and on my brain goes.

But still. It’s good to pause. And let go. Time to turn my attention to the other big milestone around the corner: The fella who’s about to join us.
