Alkebulan = Africa’s original name

Alkebulan is the oldest and the only name of indigenous origin. It was used by the Moors, Nubians, Numidians, Khart-Haddans (Carthagenians), and Ethiopians. Africa, the current misnomer adopted by almost everyone today , was given to this continent by a European invader by the name of Louis Africanus.

“Think about your Alkebu-lan consciousness, your culture, your names, your homeland, your past, your civilizations, your heritage, your ancestors, and your Mind. Today we have a false indenity of self, self-hatred, hatred for your brother, and a deep hatred for Alkebu-lan our origin.” - Nana Nasi

We are children of the motherland, Alkebulan.

What?

But, doesn’t Africa come from Ifriqiya which was an indigenous North African kingdom back in the day?

Then again I’ve heard many theories of what Africa’s “original name” is/was but I think it’d be great if we stopped acting like this modern concept of Africa or pan-Africa has always existed.

I was under the impression that the name Africa originated from Morocco, so reading that post was a complete surprise. Yeah, I get where you’re coming from, it’s a bit jarring when people talk about the “motherland” and returning to their “roots”. Not that there’s something wrong with wanting to connect with an identity, but I think it’s a little too late for that now.
