ALMOND-CINNAMON-CHOCOLATINI

Catchy name right? We have quite a sweet tooth (you may have noticed), so this is perfect for us. It's super tasty with or without alcohol - here we made the mocktail version.

You will need:

  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • (optional) 100ml vanilla vodka, 100ml crème de cacao
  1. Mix together the cocoa powder and sugar. Set aside 2 tablespoons of the mixture, and put the rest in a small saucepan.
  2. Add the water and cinnamon to the pan, and simmer over a medium heat, gently whisking until all the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Remove from the heat, and let it cool to room temperature.
  4. Now to prep your glass - run water around the rim of the glass, then dip it into the cocoa mixture you set aside earlier.
  5. When the chocolate syrup is cool, put it in a cocktail shaker with the almond milk and some ice. Shake, then strain into the glass.

If you're using alcohol, add it to the cocktail shaker in step 5. This recipe makes 2 drinks if you're using greedy big glasses like us, or 4 martini glasses.
