Cardiac arrest first thing this morning. Dispatched as difficulty breathing, arrived on scene to see CPR in progress on a 400lb man. He had sever discoloration from the nipple line up. We believe he had a AAA due to the large bulge on his abdomen with the severe mottling that appeared very quickly. Worked him for 30 minutes. Asystole most of the code with a few bouts of PEA. No IV access could be obtained so he got bilateral IO access. Did all we could, but there’s usually only so much you can do.
