Well, it’s pretty obvious what color Lands’ End has in mind for the cooler weather coming our way in the next few months.

My favorite item in this batch of new arrivals is the cotton moto jacket. I’ve grown to like the look of the cafe racer (no doubt Derek’s influence), and having it rendered in cotton scales back the edginess associated with leather, while making it more interesting than your typical ho-hum navy cotton Harrington.
The gold hardware is a great touch, and I was a bit surprised after zooming in to find it’s from Talon–a name often associated with quality zippers on vintage leather jackets. As best as I can tell, the current iteration of Talon may be in name only, with production partially or completely shifted to Asia over a decade ago, so I’m not sure what kind of quality to expect.
