The role: #StartingGood Digital Summit Assistant Producer (Unpaid Internship)

We are looking for a passionate and highly driven individual to assist with the organization of an online event (www.starting.gd) on October 20, which will see internationally renowned guest speakers including Clay Shirky, Beth Kanter, Amy Sample-Ward and more talk on the topic of using online tools to create social change. The event will be conducted entirely online via webinar, Twitter Chats and other online tools. Your primary responsibilities will be assist the team to coordinate with speakers in the lead up to the event and assist in ensuring a smooth and successful event on October 20th

Specific duties:
Liaising with speakers
Ticketing logistics
Assisting to testing, evaluating and planning the use of online platforms for the event
Developing a run sheet for the event and contingency plans
Assisting with the smooth running of the Summit

Requirements:
Based in North America (working virtually)
Available to assist in running the event on the 20th of October (you won’t need to go anywhere as the event is online!)
Minimum of 4 hours per week in the lead up to the event
