Channel 7 had their transmitter tower there, but their studios were at 190 N. State, just like today. Channel 32 (WFLD) had their studios in what was once the Marina City Movie Theaters, (now the House of Blues) but because it was a UHF station didn’t need the height for their antenna. Top 40 WCFL had their radio studios in the Marina City office building
