The steampunk novel tells the story of Boilerplate, the world’s first robot soldier. The story begins in 1890’s Chicago at the start of the Columbian Exposition.

So far I’m engrossed. It’s a beautifully done book and is evidently being adapted by JJ Abrams for the big screen.
