On Wednesday 19 June 2013, from 6.30pm, our very own Christian Graham will show off his fisheye, macro and wide angle skills when he demonstrates the versatility of Olloclip’s 3 in 1 lens system for iPhone4/4S and iPhone5 at London’s Covent Garden Apple Store.

Christian aka @thepastamaster is a dab hand with the Olloclip, and can always be relied upon for his fisheye skills with the obligatory London Instameet group shot.

Instagramers London were also lucky enough to get our hands on Olloclip’s great new Quick-Flip case, which we have been road testing over the past few days.

If, like us, you have owned an Olloclip for some time, but are sometimes a bit too lazy to remove your protective iPhone case before fixing on the Olloclip, then this case is a dream come true!  It is a very well fitting case and gives great protection to your phone, which is a must of course.  But coming to the main attraction, it has a nifty quick flipping corner portion of the case that rotates away from the camera lens, leaving the optimum amount of space to speedily connect your Olloclip.  When the corner  of the case is fully extended, it rests on the ‘volume up’ button of the iPhone, and can be pushed down as the shutter, although not all camera apps support this feature. When ready to remove the Olloclip, the corner section simply rotates back and clicks into position.

Another great feature of the case is the supplied Pro-Photo adapter, which simply slides onto the bottom of the case and snaps snugly into place.  The adapter includes  tripod mounts for your iPhone, allowing both landscape and portrait mounting.  There is also a handy cold shoe adapter, meaning that a number of accessories can be attached to your iPhone.  Last, but by no means least, there is a further adapter that means you can use the Quick-Flip case with a 5th gen iPod Touch.

In conclusion, very impressed with the overall versatility and quality of the case, and although we’ve not yet been tempted to throw our iPhone at a brick wall to test out the case’s protective qualities, it does look and feel pretty sturdy!

The Quick-Flip case is sold in two colours, white and translucent black and is available on its own, or bundled with the Olloclip, and is for iPhone4/4S and iPhone5 models.
