Christmas Comes Early

As we wait for the CBA to get ratified, there are many things to look forward too.  Such as the Christmas day match-up between The Magic and The Thunder. This will be an early test against a very young and very talented Oklahoma City team.

But on to the Magic, before the start of training camp we are already surrounded by Dwight Howard controversy. Is he staying or is he going. Depending on who you listen to some say he will be traded, while others say he will leave after the season, and there are the few that say he will stay. If you saw the same report I did and if you listen to Skip Bayless, then there is some hope. Also Dwight is expected to meet with Orlando Magic GM Otis Smith today. But there is plenty more to worry about than one player, this is a team game.

What is Mr. Smith going to do to try to keep Dwight. Is he going to try to bring another superstar here, or is he just going to keep the same MO. By that I mean trading for washed up overly paid players that use to be stars. Such as Vince Carter, Gilbert Arenas, and everyone’s favorite Turkish player Hedo Turkoglu.

If we keep the same team this year, what are we capable of? Can we win it ALL, will we make the playoffs, or will we be on the outside looking in.

We have much to look forward to this season, even though we will only have 66 games instead of 82.
