Toying with going back to Amsterdam next month for this year’s edition of Unseen Photo Fair. Only in its second year of existence, Unseen looks to celebrate undiscovered photographic talent alongside a variety of film screenings and a host of artist talks/lectures. The thing that most appeals to me is the emphasis on globalisation, and the idea of exploring photographic markets in the Middle East, Africa and Asia. “Emerging”, as many Western curators would say. With a wide range of curators, critics and academics hosting events over four days, it’s sure to be ridiculously educational.

It looks like my ongoing love affair with the Dutch arts scene will be continuing for a little longer.
