Jennifer S. Cheng realizes there was a wasp nest clinging to the cabinet. Jennifer writes to Mao to inform him of the awfulness of the wasps. Wasps are typically capitalists who enjoy iced tea with a little bit of sugar. That is the wasp lifestyle. Bare water against the shins happens whenever the floods come. Here Jennifer describes the weirdness of the only two-story building around for miles. Absolution of sin happens every birthday. Blowing out a candle reminds fate that there is a concerted effort to be better, or at least get a break once in a while. Paper lanterns catch fire because honestly they are paper. Fire loves eating a good piece of paper. The temptation is too much for an already hungry fire.
Kwan Booth looks for an entirely different life. The constant search for everything takes up most of a lifetime. Continuous pulls to get better tug at the edges of life stretching people to their limits. Few heed their limitations opting for the comfortable, the small rather than the grand gestures. Great expense must be paid for the large gestures. Words have a lot of promise. Usage of language can do everything theoretically. Practice makes perfect. Meaning reveals itself after weeks of lingering about not saying a word. Sometimes the most profound moments are the silent ones. Healing is underrated. Due to cost it is ignored in exchange for waiting things out. Few ever make millions from poetry. Typically poetry enjoys ignoring monetary need opting to wake people up in the middle of the night with a brilliant line. Talk is cheap and poetry is cheaper. Despite this poetry offers value outside of money into a kind of peace, one that few ever experience.
Alexandra Naughton asks who wears the blue bathroom. Handsome in theory in practice it is a bit worn. Bathrooms are never cool but always popular. Empathy is beautiful. Innocence loses itself in the process of pursuing innocence. The discovery of innocence coincides with the loss of innocence. Life works out that way. Sleep happens in every room. Not everybody is fortunate enough to crash on a couch. Collections of fuck-ups are valuable learning tools. Unfortunately a fuck-up can be held over one’s head as a weapon, the weapon of a past. Smells remind people of a past bringing up images of a life already gone.
Tomas Moniz gets chafed. Life is chafe. Rubbing against everything tends to do that. Eventually the world gets the upper half using friction to its advantage destroying innocent skin. With the right people life can be touching: hugging, handshakes, or more. Sex is a form of reclamation. Happy sex is the kind that rises above before it gets down. Not everybody starts out with great sex, it takes practice. Enough practice gives it meaning. Bending people is easy. Breaking them is harder. Close relationships require the ability to bend but not break.
