Fans found out about Monkeybrain’s plans to partner with Image and IDW for print collections of its ComiXology offerings back in February, and now it seems Dark Horse will join the fray on November 6 with Bandette Vol. 1: Presto! Collecting the first five issues of Paul Tobin and Colleen Coover’s Eisner Award-nominated Bandette series (for Best New Series, Best Penciller/Inker, Best Coloring and Best Digital Comic) starring perhaps the most charming young superheroic thief to grace either the printed or digital page since Lupin III. In anticipation of the hardcover, Dark Horse Comics has provided ComicsAlliance with a first look at “Daniel’s Story,” an original prose story just for the hardcover collection written by Tobin and featuring spot illustrations by Coover.
