Marcio Takara 200 Tiny Comic Book and Video Game Characters
We were wowed by artist Marcio Takara’s ambitious completion of 120 tiny characters back in 2011, but it appears he didn’t slow down for a second between then and now and have amassed a total of 200 illustrations. Takara’s been adding characters little-by-little over the course of the past three years with a focus on heroes and villains from comic books, cartoons, video games, television and film – all the while taking commissions and illustrating runs on The Flash, Blue Beetle, Incorruptible, The Incredibles and more. His 200th character, Metamorpho, is among my favorites in a group that includes the Justice League, the Avengers, gaming icons and iconic creator-owned comic stars.
