Maliko Water Sports a 501C3 non-profit organization and Talia Gangini
are teaming up to raise money for a Scholarship fund for Children under the
age of 18, who would normally not be able to afford to take art classes at the
Hui No’eau.

At the age of 14 Talia started taking jewelry classes at the Hui No’eau which
enabled her to pursue her Love of Jewelry Design and take her small business to
the next level.  In the same summer Talia started classes at the Hui No’eau, she
also was the youngest girl to paddle in the Molokai to Oahu Championships
stock paddle board team her and her team mate finished in first place. She has
now paddled across the Kaiwi Channel seven times as well as the Pailolo
Channel from Maui to Molokai. In a variety of crafts including Traditional
Paddle Board, OC-1 Canoe, Stand Up Paddle & Six Man Canoe.

In 2009 at the age of 16 a necklace, from her jewelry line Pashey Designz,
was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition and continues
to sell in boutiques all over Hawaii and California.

Combining her passion of Ocean Sports and Creative arts, Talia has
decided to use her water sports to raise money for the furthering of creative arts,
to give children who don’t have the opportunity to explore there creative side.
She will be paddling from Maui to Lanai on a OC-1 Canoe then from Maui to
Molokai on a Stand-up Paddle Board. A suggested $2.00 per mile and above donation which goes to support the Scholarship fund. All together she will be paddling about 42 miles donations can be made to Maliko Water Sports and sent to 1026 Haiku rd Haiku hi 96708. Any Donation is greatly appreciated.
