Zoe Quinn’s defenders think we’re trashing her game because it was made by a woman and we apparently think that women suck at designing video games.
Well guess what? You know that horrible ET game from 1982?
It was designed by a man. That just goes to show you that you can be a shitty, untalented game designer no matter what your gender and our criticisms of Depression Quest aren’t rooted in misogyny.
We don’t talk about this game.
So let me use this time to tell everyone about how odd and interesting development of Atari’s E.T. was, because chances like this don’t come up every day.
