What happens here at Davies Symphony Hall in August? With no concerts until our Opening Gala on September 3, it’s our window for some important maintenance. There’s a different kind of music happening - drills, hammers, scrapers, and some cool R&B tunes that the crew is listening to.
Among many things, we’re refinishing the wood floor and risers on stage, cleaning the acoustic canopy above the stage, replacing all the carpet in the loge seating level, and replacing the assisted listening devices in the Hall.
