I finally put the anniversary planter together. For our fourth anniversary, Jeff picked up an awesome handmade planter designed by www.mikecone.com that we found at Redenta’s in Arlington. Next, he picked up four gift cards from some of my favorite nurseries: Redenta’s, Grow it!, Chambers, and The Plant Shed.

Needless to say I was surprised - because usually I get scowls when I bring a new plant home! Anyways, his plan was to put together a planter using purchases from all the different nurseries. Well, we made it to two of them before the planter was full!

Here is the finished result: a mixture of various Crypanthus species with Stapelia and Kalanchoe. Pretty lush, right?
